ASAS - Association for Space-based Applications and Services, is an Italian companies' industrial association aiming to promote the diffusion of space-based Services and Applications due to their potential in transferring "from Space to Earth" technological innovation in business and in the quality of everyday and everybody life.The potential of the Space-based services and the research involved in the space programs is an important element for a general technological innovation. The companies participating to ASAS are leader in advanced and specific technologies and are involved in important research programs including Earth Observation, Telecommunications, GIS and Navigation.
