The Alliance for Critical Infrastructure Security's (ACIS) is a nonprofit that connects dots, understands the art of the possible by facilitating collaboration between critical infrastructure stakeholders, particularly utility owners/operators, trade groups, regulators, government agencies, to identify vulnerabilities, manage risk, mitigate cyber-based threats, physical asset-based threats and develop solutions that improve the defense of the nation's critical infrastructure. ACIS analyzes cyber and physical risk for all the critical infrastructure sectors, because of the reliance of all other sectors on the electric grid, ACIS places significant emphasis on defense of the grid.
