Assist Social Capital is a UK-based social enterprise, that promotes best practice in social capital which facilitates collective action, improving mutually beneficial outcomes for the communities and business we work with.Assist Social Capital (ASC) is a Community Interest Company. We aim to support groups, communities and organisations to maximise their ability to be resourceful and responsive to opportunity. We do this by measuring the quantity and quality of internal and external relationships (the social operating system of groups) to deliver economic and social benefit by creating evaluation reports and action plans. The result is replicable outcomes that increase impact while lowering the cost and time need to deliver and demonstrate beneficial change.We are a leader in the field, working in Scotland and internationally to help organisations and communities make use of social capital as a critical resources in their work plans. Defined by the OECD as "networks together with shared norms, values and understanding that facilitate co-operation within or among groups", research demonstrates that investing in and building social capital as part of any development process will have a beneficial impact on the intended objectives of a project.
