Bennetts Steel was founded by Gordon Bennett and his partner Peta Simmons in 1991. Gordon's daughter, Shiree Bennett joined the family business in 2014 along with stepsister Tanya Simmons, allowing Gordon and Peta to enjoy their retirement without selling their pride and joy. Keeping the family legacy, Shiree now oversees the business and works alongside a dynamic team of men and women. The team are all skilful at their trade and make Bennetts Steel one of the largest privately owned steel retailers on the New South Wales East Coast. On a well-presented site of over 3 acres, and in addition to steel products and supplies, we offer steel cutting, folding, bending and fabrication and CNC plasma cutting. One of our popular services is custom steel projects for the home, business and community. We have a design team to help create steel sculptures and art, decorative screens, firepits, unique letterboxes, property signage, landscaping projects and really anything you can think of made with steel. It's the strength of our team, who all individually excel in their craft, that has made Bennetts Steel what it is today.
