Carverter offered a unique technology led solution to enpower users to lease the perfect electric car for their needs and to 'go greener sooner'.Unfortunately the global post-covid semi conductor shortage significantly impacted new electric car delivery times - pushing many lead times from 3 months to 24 months. Furthermore it caused a 'black swan' used car market whereby some second hand cars were selling from more than 40% of the price of brand new ones.Facing these unprecendented market conditions Carverter's management took the decision to enter into solvent voluntary liquidation on 1st February 2022, returning remaining funds to investors.
