Eniatype is a London-based architectural practice established by Dr. Shaun Murray in 2011. A strong emphasis is given to a critical design process by resisting predetermined architectural solutions to a client's brief prior to a thorough investigation of each project's unique situation. We have a holistic approach to solving problems within the built environment which go far beyond buildings.Our process delivers buildings and spaces that maintain a close synthesis between the context of the project and the client's requirements. As a result of this process-lead work and our abilities to undertake projects of highly varied typologies, the practice is pursuing a diverse range of projects in the UK and abroad for private, commercial and public sector clients.We aim to meet the challenges of the decade ahead by developing an ethos that is interconnected, interdependent and interdisciplinary. We understand the demands of a swiftly changing ecological, economic and poitical climate requires a dedicated design practice for environmental and ecological projects.We see each project as iterative, one that would involve close collaboration with the client to be able to manipulate the interaction between initial capital costs, whole life costs and carbon costs as apart of the design process.
