We're an indie record label that over the past five years has worked with disadvantage teen girls across America. For the past two years we have been members of the educate program within 'atdc' at Georgia Tech (a tech startup incubator). We're currently building a social media platform to help resolve key teen social issues we have observed, coped with and attempted to solve as a result of working with some 25 teen girls within the record label, i.e., social media with social benefit. We're beta testing each segment of the iOS Test Flight version (due for release July 2018) with our Teen Tech Pods consisting of small groups of teenagers worldwide (USA, South America, Spain, Canada, India and Hong Kong). The record label, HRW Music Group, LLC, has been run by over 400 college interns over the past 4 years. We struggled for 8 months using college interns to build the app and have now retained an outsourcing firm in India. Of the girls we work with on average only 2 or 3 percent ever attend college; over 90 percent of our girls are in college on scholarships. And no, we do not have a hit single as yet. We are unique because of our back-story of the record label, our unique approach to social media focused on reducing depression in teens and 'yep' we're teen tested.
