I serve as a garden consultant and designer and work with clients to evaluate and assess the current condition of their landscape, understand their dreams, desires and needs, and determine the most appropriate and effective design strategies with the goal of creating a distinct sense of place with regional flavor and year-round beauty.Design objectives include energy savings, water conservation, wildlife habitat, drought tolerance, soil health, and management for long-term sustainability. In addition, I work as a partner and mentor with those clients who want to expand their horticultural knowledge and skill base, gain understanding of garden ecology, and develop land care practices.Services include landscape and garden design, installation, project management, consultation and land care (garden maintenance).
