We aim to bring transformative solutions to poverty through holistic life development, focused on three impact areas: Life Development, Economic Development, & Spiritual Formation. Together these areas address skills development training for unemployed youth (18-35) and theological training for local pastors & church leaders, empowering individuals and the local church to seek sustainable, long-term community change.WHY?More than a trillion dollars in aid has been poured into Africa in the last 50 years. And yet, extreme poverty remains one of the greatest challenges the continent faces. So what went wrong? With the focus primarily on things like infrastructure, mass feeding programs, and large-scale development, what's been forgotten is the people.Don't get us wrong, that type of aid funding is vitally important and still has its place. But now more than ever, it is time for us to invest in the development of people to see an end to extreme poverty. While there remains great value in digging wells, constructing roads, and establishing healthcare programs, we must not forget that Africa's greatest resource is her people.At Hope Africa Collective, we aim to lead the charge in investing into the lives of people.
