SIMSMART Technologies Inc. has created, a unique and highly advanced process and control simulation based design tool used in a wide range of military and industrial applications covering fluids, gases, HVAC, electrical, processes and controls. SIMSMART™ provides a drag and drop environment where the designers select process and control icons (pipes, valves, pumps, etc.) on to process & Instrumentation diagrams. The icons brought into the diagrams are simulated using first-principle physics equations. As the icons are connected, a complete set of equation is combined to create a real-time simulation engine to test the vital systems prior to committing drawings to production. These models may be used to execute “behind” operator consoles for embedded training. The design model effectively serves as the training model.
