Mr V.DURAISWAMY, a lathe operator at PIONEER MILLS,CBE with an urge to have his own business started JAYAKUMAR INDUSTRIES in the year 1979 as proprietorship firm with one lathe. After a struggle of several months he established himself with job orders from the reputed LAKSHMI MACHINE WORKS LTD CBE. Steadily the firm had grown itself with orders from in and around coimbatore.With the entry of Mr. JAYAKUMAR, Son of Duraiswamy in the year 1996 the firm had moved to the next Generation Enterprenership, with 5 milling machines, surface grinding, lathe and Horizontal boring machine,Radial drilling machine providing orders for textile industries, paper mills,Chemical valve Industries and export companies also. The main client for export orders was GTN EXPORTS ( INDIA ) LTD Engineering Division which has tieup with Global Giant Valve Manufacturing Company Named FMC TECHNOLIGIES.As advancement in technologies the firm moved on to computer based machines from 2007. we had purchased 5 machining centers concentrating on production orders for various components for oil and gas companies (petroleum wells). The year 2019 was a crucial period for the firm due to the worldwide pandemic situation. This was the period when the firm planned to move in to new building at POTHIAMPALAYAM, ARASUR. With the help from NBFC's it had completed the construction of building in 60 cents of land with the factory over 8000 sq ft .Now, in the year 2022 the firm had regained its growth with not only adding a imported surface grinding machine but also with export orders from various companies.
