Lakeside Consulting Group (LCG) members will: 1. Engage with local, statewide and national organizations to provide consultation for solving their operational or strategic problems. 2. Gain real-world consulting experience while working in teams with highly-qualified student consultants on projects with different companies each semester.3. Receive various forms of training to help them complete their engagement (e.g., an introduction to data analytics). Furthermore, this high-stake, real consulting engagement that has potential to transform their client's organization and will culminate with a final presentation of an implementation plan for the clients4. Develop strong resumes, and the organization will provide mentorship for underclassmen beginning their job search. A focus of LCG is establishing strong relationships with top consulting firms to provide direct recruitment channels for its members.
