The Local Fix Clinic was established within the walls of the ZenTai Wellness Clinic in 2013. We use a variety of techniques to meet our client's goals which include instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, athletic taping, joint play, myofascial release, cranial sacral inspired techniques, deep tissue treatments, and muscle energy techniques. We also challenge our clients with self-care and hydrotherapy, and to become more aware of how they use their bodies on a daily basis.The clinic's philosophy is that we believe people need to be more involved in their own health and wellness. "We live in a society that believes a lot in band-aid solutions and quick fixes, but it is important to remember that we have one body, and the choices we make everyday will determine how long, and how well that body will work."I like to think the practice embodies this philosophy and is helping to shift people's perceptions of massage therapy from not just a relaxation treatment that makes us feel good, but a treatment for the whole person, including the mind and the body.
