Mason & Greens is on a mission to drastically disrupt business as usual by being a leader in the world of sustainability consumerism. With one hand firmly planted in the food industry working to reduce/eliminate plastic packing in a grocery store setting with the other cultivating relationships with plastic free, cruelty free and palm oil free companies to bring a wide range of planet friendly consumables into our market space. The Mason & Greens flagship store (located in Alexandria,Va) opened in March 2020 as the pandemic was taking a hold of society. With the new isolation in place, swaths of plastic being used and waste being discarded at an alarming rate, we were able to establish a foothold in our community with an alternative that was and is still necessary to fight global pollution and climate change. With our success in Virginia, we have expanded to include a second and larger location in Washington DC's Capitol Hill neighborhood. We are positioning ourselves in the middle of the climate talk action taking place in Washingotn to be able to lend an ear or a helping hand to everyone who wishes to learn more and to take actions towards reducing waste, quitting plastics and purchasing ethically made vegan goods.
