Milton Transitional Housing (MTH) is a community-based charity that provides bridge accommodation and supportive counselling to those in our community experiencing a housing crisis as they work towards securing stable housing. It provides expert help to families and individuals to help them stabilize their lives, gain hope and move forward with dignity. A key element is supportive counseling to meet short and long-term goals, leading individuals to gradually build independence and return to a stable home situation within 24 months. Milton Transitional Housing has adopted a two-pronged strategy to meet these goals for our participants:- Provide safe, subsidized transitional shelter- Support people to develop relevant life skills
