Katie and I have established this ministry out of a renewed understanding of what it means to be a son and daughter of God. This new state of understanding, and living, has allowed us to share our hurts, hopes and joys, and be more forthcoming and intimate with one another, and others. As we have progressed through this journey, we have developed a better sense of how our shame and trauma have hindered our communication with one another and our children. As we have experienced the joy that this new awareness can bring, we have committed ourselves to sharing what we have learned. Our desire is to come alongside others in their journey, working to explore areas in their lives that shame and trauma may be hampering. Kate and I can only thank the Lord for the new life that he has brought to our marriage and family.Sam Reighard M.A. is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa. Sam has over ten years of experience working in this field. He received his undergraduate degree from Lincoln Christian College in Family Life Ministry and his Masters of Arts in counseling from Lincoln Christian seminary in Lincoln Illinois. Sam has worked with individuals, families and couples, exploring topics such as trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual addiction, relationship issues, and spirituality. Sam will be providing services in New London, Iowa and Keokuk, Iowa, in addition to offering services via Telehealth. Sam is very thankful for the redemptive work of his Heavenly Father in his life and the life of his marriage.
