NuPaper is a software company that is establishing an educational-platform for digital-ink based collaborative environments. Through cutting-edge research NuPaper is setting out to prove that its technology is successful in improving learning. NuPaper Classroom® has been deployed and is actively in use at the University of Illinois College of Business, University of Illinois Executive MBA Program, and at a number of K-12 Institutions in the State of Illinois. The NuPaper system unobtrusively allows for the collection of data on how a student is learning in real-time. For example, through our data collection algorithms, a teacher is able to detect if a student is regularly completing exercises, allowing the teacher to intervene and confirm a student is or is not lost on a particular objective. The ability of a teacher to simultaneously review the work of all her students in real time via the Teacher's Dashboard allows for immediate support. For schools, these improvements can mean additional funding, prestige, easier recruitment of educators, and better student achievement.
