In 2018, the founder of Oinosporos, Evangelia Sotiropoulou, oinologist,MSc, PhDc, was inspired through her research in grape seed oil to create a cosmetic product line in order to utilize the oil's benefits.The name is derived from Oinos [iːnə] =Wine in ancient Greek + Sporos [spòːrə] = seed, based on the driving force of our project, which is grape seed. Oinosporos has developed natural products for the face, body and hair with grape seed oil. Oinosporos core force is the exploitation of wine by-products (grape seeds and grape seed oil) contributing to winery sustainability. We do believe in raising environmental awareness and constant research and development of products with new (drastic) ingredients.
