The PostScript Project is a donation based, open-source, non-profit initiative, created to give investigative journalists a safer, more secure place to store their information and publish their work, while helping to prevent attacks against them.Public access to an uncontaminated supply of information is paramount to the proper functioning of a democracy. Investigative journalists dedicate their lives to ensure that we, the people, are informed on issues of public interest.The PostScipt system will allow journalists to store their data on an impenetrable, decentralized database. They won't have to trust an organization, central server or person with their data. The PostScript can't be hacked, tampered with or deleted, and the immutable nature of data on the blockchain means there is no point in even attempting to. The system will also make use of a smart-contract which can be set to publish a journalists work at a given date, whatever happens - and it can't be stopped. While this system can't actively stop threats or attacks on journalists, the immutable nature of information stored on the blockchain, paired with the power of a self-publishing Postscript, will serve to at least limit incentive to do so.
