We wanted to make it easier and more affordable for independent authors to take the plunge and bring their work to life in audio. So, we built Recordio. Recordio's mission is to make audiobook creation simple, affordable and accessible to independent authors across the globe through free, proprietary mobile apps. The free Recordio app allows authors to read, record and export audiobooks using nothing but a smartphone. We're passionate about helping new and aspiring authors bring their work to audio and encouraging established authors to take a more active role in producing their print work in audio format. We're big proponents of writer/author communities and self-publishing.
