RGC specialises cultural community development focusing on consultative and participatory approaches towards building sustainable livelihoods through media, communications, tourism and the arts; including project planning and delivery, strategic fundraising, organisational capacity building and management of small-medium enterprise (SME) through NGOs and associated government programs. Renita has a strong cross-cultural consultation background in participatory methods, planning and management with 15 years experience in program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. RGC has a strong established network across the Australian Indigenous community, from individuals and organisations at grass roots level through to senior government that has grown from working closely with over the last 20 years. RGC has extensive experience in consultation, development and management of Australian government funded programs within the arts, tourism, media and communications including initiatives for increasing employment and associated infrastructure in remote areas. As a community development consultant to marginalised indigenous groups for projects, RGC works through capacity building in project development and ongoing management, with a specific focus on workplace training and mentoring. This includes an organisational skills development focus on strengthening both not-for-profit and commercial development processes, small business administration, governance training, human resource management and conflict resolution.
