There was a man with a dream of someday being one of Ohio's best and largest suppliers of plants. He set up shop in the small town of Valley City in 1973 with 14 acres and that dream.Mario, with the help of a loving wife, Karen, 3 wonderful sons, Chad, Kirk and Drew, and a host of dedicated employees, today, some 30 years later, has a 200 acre nursery and one of the nation's largest ready-to-go inventories.We pride ourselves with stocking a wide range of shade and ornamental trees from 1 3/4" - 7 1/2 " and evergreen trees from 5' - 22', as well as a full compliment of shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses to top off any size project.We, at Rusty Oak Nursery, love our plants and their beauty and would love to share our knowledge of them with you.
