Shivam Cycle Store was founded by Mr. Anil Raj Batra in the year 1990 and is being run as a family business since then, It is named after his son who was born in the same year. The store has multiple famous Indian brand bicycles such as Atlas, Avon, Neelam, Nova, etc. Also, it runs a franchisee of British made Hercules and BSA bicycle famous for its salient features and unique designs & models. Shivam Cycle Store (SCS) also deals in the state of the art design bicycles designed and assembled in its facility and capacity from parts across India and the world. SCS is planning to expand its route from offline to online business by January 2020 with a sole purpose of customer engagement, collaboration, and satisfaction.In a wider scope newly joined Shivam has its plan to make a wider impact on the planet, thus adopting sustainable practices is a next challenge for the business to make the planet greener. Shivam did his MBA in International Business from Politecnico di Milano Business School, Italy and is very fascinated towards green technology, sustainability, circular economy, stakeholder engagement, community building, etc. He has 5 years of International business experience in multiple countries and has traveled and lived in many African, Asian and European countries and thus understand International collaborations and trading really well. His plan is to diversify the company across the borders and also indulge with the government to subsidize the green mode of transportation for the weeker section of society. He is also aiming to enter in different industries and sectors such as Solid Waste Management, Community Based Agriculture, Waste Water Management, etc. which are related to one another with a common vision and mission to reduce the carbon-footprints, promote sustainability and help the planet to breathe.
