Sitting Pretty quite simply,...The Company was formed and built by experienced designers and upholsterers, Jim Henderson, Sam Henderson and Jeffrey Cooper, Starting out designing recliner chairs and sofa beds back in 2002, from the modest surroundings of Sam Henderson's Kitchen! .. with no overheads to worry about we built up a cash pot by shear hard work,enthusiasm and determination to succeed in business development, this strategic plan and drive then developed rapidly after forming good subcontract relationships with some large national manufacturing companies, (which we still proudly have today 2015) We then decided to take on a small industrial unit in 2004. Cutting quite a long story very short!...We have now relocated to our current factories, Have never had any financial backing/grants or loans etc.Today Sitting Pretty has grown into a national recognised brand of lift chairs and complementary sofas and we proudly employ 53 people (and growing) producing record turnover and profits each year.
