The Library Foundation promotes charitable giving in support of a strong and innovative Springfield-Greene County Library District.Since its inception in 1993, The Library Foundation has worked to further the Springfield-Greene County Library District's goal of enriching the community with quality resources, facilities and programming – including extensive children's programming. We facilitated fundraising efforts for high-profile projects such as the Library Center on South Campbell, southwest Missouri's first destination library, InfoLink, the community's first online database project and several renovation/ expansion projects at area branches. The Library Foundation has also been instrumental in founding several funds dedicated to specific library fundraising efforts.
