Sunshine Sign and Sing provides children's key word sign resources and services. Our services include professional development for early learning educators and teachers in children's key word sign, and assists families implement children's key word sign at home. We provide resources including flashcards, posters and children's story books.Children's key word sign is an alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) tool to assist children with communication difficulties. Children's key word sign used signs (kindly borrow from Auslan) and gestures alongside speech with only the key words being signed. For children it can be used as an alternative to speech while non speaking / non verbal or to augment speech to help children be understood or during periods of situational / selective mutism. Communication is a basic human right and Sunshine Sign and Sing is passionate that all children are given access to this amazing tool.
