The AWESUM Foundation has been established to support women who possess ideas of business but are lacking in matching support from society/parents /relatives. It is observed that very often women face a lot of resistance and discouragement to pursuing their dreams. AWE stands for Aspiring Women Entrepreneurs. SUM stands for sigma, which aggregates the strength of such women, which in turn will help strengthen the spirit of entrepreneurship apart from contributing meaningfully to the Indian economy and the society at large. The AWESUM Foundation identifies business ideas from women through structured "Business Ideation Festivals". These projects are fully funded and incubated by the AWESUM Foundation. We are happy to mentor and handhold the aspiring women entrepreneurs with an overriding objective of transitioning from nascent "business ideas" to full blown "business entities".
