The Indian Sports Initiative is a Section 8 Company, developed using design and system thinking framework, that aims to promote unconventional Olympic sports through the development of sports educational curriculum. We explore the intersection of sports and social justice, furthering accessibility for the underprivileged and providing them with the strength and fortitude to fight all the stigma, stereotypes, and exploitation that comes their way.Our Work:- Incubated at The Circle India- Incubated at Teach For India- Secured The Circle's Innovation Funding Grant worth up to Rs 1 Lakh- Spearheaded workshops in collaboration with 5 Bombay Municipal Corporation schools and 5 low income private schools to increase awareness and accessibility for sports such as Taekwondo, Athletics and Archery to 350+ students- Partnered with Barefoot Edu Foundation to conduct upskilling workshops for 15 cricket coaches that impacted 700+ students in the communities of Malwani and Govandi. - Selected as one of the top 15 projects for Teach For India's National Social Innovation Track across 8 cities - iLab x Avagam Ventures
