The New Personality Self-Portrait (NPSP and NPSP25) maps your unique personality style, strengths, conflicts, work and relationship issues, and keys to personality change. It offers an assessment of 14 personality styles and maps how they combine in a unique profile for the user. By becoming aware of all aspects of one's Self-Portrait, a person can make sense of strengths, conflicts and hidden resources throughout all roles and aspects of life. The test evolved from a classification system for personality disorders used by the American Psychiatric Association. Developed by John M. Oldham, MD, one of the world's leading medical experts in personality pathology, the NPSP became the first personality test to identify the healthy, adaptive style of which each disorder represents an unhealthy extreme.
