Tigertail Lake Recreational Center is a Broward College facility established in 1973 to promote sailing, SCUBA diving, and other watersports. Since then, Tigertail Lake has expanded its offerings to include experiential education, workshops and other educational services, a ropes course, and even adventure trips!Tigertail Lake provides recreational watersports (kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, and windsurfing) to Broward College students and the general public. Tigertail Lake also offers educational courses for certification including SCUBA diving (PADI), Lifeguarding (American Red Cross), and Sailing (US Sailing). The Tigertail Lake facility features a five acre lake, beach waterfront, and a ropes course. The facility has several conference rooms, pavilions, and classrooms available for rental (for personal or professional use). It is open to the public seven days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with special rates for Broward College students and staff.
