President's Message,The Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ) is a statewide organization dedicated to fighting for the rights of the public, bench, and bar. One of our main priorities is preserving our jury trial system, which is consistently facing challenges such as delays, backlog and the shortage of judges. TANJ is uniquely qualified to take on this fight, as we are made up of members from the civil and criminal plaintiff and defense bars, and former members of the judiciary. We are committed to fighting for New Jersey's legal system.In addition to fighting for access to our courts, TANJ is dedicated to ensuring that citizens receive a fair trial once in the courtroom. This begins with a capable and qualified bench and bar.
