The Wells Chamber of Commerce and Tourism exists to promote the interests of its members, the local community and visitor economy – making sure Wells is a great place to be in business.It has a well established membership in excess of 50, and always welcomes new members to visit and join.In addition to organizing monthly meetings, the Chamber supports business through education and training events, and provides small grants to events such as Wells Loyalty League, Wells Food Festival, Wells Literature Festival, Annual Reindeer Parade, Arts projects (including as a major sponsor of the Antony Gormley sculpture project), and business start ups.In addition to supporting activities in Wells, the Chamber provides opportunities for:Building Business – sharing news and opportunitiesParticipation– giving a little of your time and expertise for the benefit of allCommunity– meeting like minded people, expanding your social circleRepresentation/Voice – making your ideas and views known to a wide and influential audience
