The West Texas Angel Network (WTAN), is a non-profit corporation based in Amarillo, Texas. WTAN facilitates the introduction of entrepreneurs to potential investors through presentations and other systems. Members of the West Texas Angel Network are independent investors that are interested in funding privately operated companiesor business ventures that are, often times, in the earliest stages of development.While WTAN is a non-profit, angel investors within the network invest in other companies, organizations, or ventures as for-profit ventures. WTAN equips angel investors with the tools and connections necessary to find potential early-stage companies that they are interested in providing with financial assistance and industry expertise.
