Westhill & District Community Sport and Leisure Hub (WDCSH) was established in 2014. A working group of interested parties was formed to determine the vision, aims and progress towards recognised sportscotland hub status.We exist to bring the community together by providing pathways of opportunities as well as information, advice and support. The target — to make it easier for all people of all abilities in the Westhill area to get involved and engage in a more active/healthier lifestyle.To help sport and leisure grow and be sustainable moving forward, we'd like to improve the current levels and quality of facilities on offer to the Westhill and District community. We also want to get the most out of current amenities and support improvement where we can.We hope to enhance links between schools and clubs and build closer relationships between clubs and with local businesses; promote the training and development of coaches; encourage the sharing of equipment; and to promote the role of sports science in diet and fitness.
