Dear friends in business here are a few words about what I do...Three years ago, I left ‘safe-employment' to become self-employed. engirio is my own limited company, currently a one-person business and I intend to keep it this way. Inspiration for the name came from Japanese 技量. Pronounced as "gyrio", it can be translated as a skill, expertise, competence or talent. A person with a "gyrio" is someone competent in their (specific) area, having a mind-set to resolve problems or someone innovative. I felt the name reflects well the kind of people and companies I engage with.My customers come from engineering and manufacturing, mostly safety-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices or Aerospace. I work on hiring special/niche skills professionals and executive search assigments on global basis. My experience also include complete hiring for start-ups and larger expansions (altogether 19 in the CEE region so far), and I often partner with companies in Europe on larger recruitment projects with multiple vacancies. When it makes sense, I collaborate with reliable recruiters or researchers I have known for years. Currently, my home is in Glasgow, Scotland but I travel where needed.As an independent specialist, I invest my energy into building relationships and understanding you, focusing on fewer clients and long-term partnerhips.
