The office, a division of the Department of Public Safety, administers nearly $1 billion in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development disaster recovery and mitigation funds, as well as state disaster recovery funding. NCORR manages several programs that support long-term disaster recovery and resiliency including homeowner recovery, infrastructure, affordable housing, resiliency, strategic buyout, and local government grants and loans.
