In 2016, Arcticom was the leader in sales and service for the Cambium Wireless product. This same year, Arcticom invested in their infrastructure and upgraded from an analog system to a mototbro digital trunking system. This upgrade ensured Arcticom's longevity and solidified its place as the leader in communications in the state of Alaska.In 2013 Arcticom was acquired by Bering Straits Native Corporation. BSNC is an Alaska Native Corporation that was established by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. BSNC is owned by more than 7,300 Alaska Native shareholders and actively pursues responsible development of resources and other business opportunities.
