Amsterdam Warriors is a community-driven multisport club having education, development, and well-being at the core of our values, located in the heart of Amsterdam Zuidoost. We provide Basketball, Football, and Baseball 5 classes to kids and youngsters between the ages of 6 and 20 with the mission "To use sports as a means to help fight the social challenges our direct environment is facing". Unemployment, decreasing participation in social activities, and increasing crime rates in young age groups are just some of the challenges we are trying to solve through our activities. Our vision is "To inspire the next generation and be the springboard to opportunities". We aim to achieve our objectives by fostering values such as punctuality, teamwork, coachability, safety, and innovation.We provide several other activities to ensure all kids can join regardless of their background and motivation. Thus, we offer a Regional Basketball program for kids who want to participate in a Basketball competition on their own terms. In the Beweegschool program, we teach kids as young as 4 years basic movements such as running, jumping, climbing, and balancing, followed by a lesson in Basketball, Football, or Baseball 5.Our dedication to our members goes beyond sports. We support them in every step of their success journey to help them become responsible citizens. Thus, we have developed the Excellence program, which provides tutoring for schoolwork, nutrition through meals provided by Serge Kitchen, and expert advice from a nutritionist. We also help our kids in their professional journey by connecting them with professionals in our network and providing valuable life lessons through guest speakers.Amsterdam Warriors is unique in integrating education into its sports activities to provide the necessary support to the community in the most important aspects of life.
