Books on the Pond's Art & Writing Center was established in June 2020. Located three miles from South County Rhode Island beaches, BoP Writing & Art Center is a beautifully landscaped and located place for artists, writers and their patrons to share their ideas and work. We offer writing classes for all levels and pursuits. With 2.2 acres of outdoor seating and a sculpture garden, people of all ages spend time here off of their phones - meeting friends and family, having face to face conversations, or just being in the sunshine. Our art studio is for rent on a per diem or monthly basis. Please check our website for our programming, updated often. We participate in the General's Market where our artisans feature and sell their work - including our 'house' brand, Beach House.
