CANEfit provides seminars, workshops, classes, and individual training to teach people that using a cane does not make them look old, weak, or disabled but that a cane can EMPOWER them. CANEfit seminars provide lectures on all types of arthritis and their treatments. Following the lecture, there is a hands-on workshop where participants learn how to properly use the cane to assist with mobility and reduce the risk of falling. CANEfit also demonstrates techniques on how to use the cane for self-protection.CANEfit also provides beginner and advanced cane exercise / self-protection classes. These classes are taught by certified instructors.
