Educator quality is one of the most important factors in improving student achievement outside the home. For almost 40 years, CFE supported Chicago public school educators through robust grant and fellowship programming.Post-Covid, we strategically shifted our focus to funding teacher-driven work in the city's most disinvested neighborhoods. And, as of December 2023, we closed our doors permanently. Many thanks to all who have been supporters and advocates over the years!
