DASTAN Foundation, a Non-for-Profit organization registered in Australia (ABN 34 789 627 512), was established for charitable purposes aimed at enhancing science and education. The foundation supports excellence and innovation in research, with a particular emphasis on environmental science, artificial intelligence, and renewable energies as well as social science and the humanities. The inaugural Dastan Research Grant is focused on environmental issues and intends to fund research in relevant areas of environmental science, including its natural and social aspects. Dastan hopes to enable outstanding young intellects studying at universities of high academic reputation to conduct research with a real-world problem-solving focus.
