Europe Direct is a European information network administered by the European Commission and its goal is to bring Europe closer to its citizens.The main activities of the Europe Direct Center of the Province of Verona focus on: - providing advice and assistance on EU legislation, opportunities, funding, EU Institutions and programmes; - providing information on issues of European interest; - designing and implementing projects with the local community, schools, the Europe Direct network and the DG Communication of the European Commission; - organising conferences, seminars and cultural initiatives to promote public debate on the EU; - planning training and vocational guidance activities; - producing pamphlets and dossiers on subjects of European relevance; - carrying on basic communication activities through social media and the monthly newsletter.
