FARAWAY HOLIDAYS PVT LTD, MALDIVESFaraway Holidays Private Limited is a privately incorporated family company registered in the Maldives in 2004. Its Directors are Mr Sim I. Mohamed and Dr Mariyam Zulfa (bio-data attached). The main work done by the company has been in tourism and tourism project management, over the past 15 years. Faraway has also been active in ownership and management of media outlets; publishing top-end magazines Explore Maldives magazine and the inflight magazine Hiriyaa. Faraway owns and operated its own radio station 96.6 faraway.fm and operated a fully equipped printer and publishing house. As part of the new strategy Faraway has now moved from media to concentrate on its tourism projects since 2012. - The tourism projects under management and supervision of Mr Sim I. Mohamed have included : - The project to develop the resort of Gangehi Island in Ari Atoll for Club Vacanze, Italy (with his brother Abdullah Mohamed) - Bidding for and successfully winning the bid to lease and develop the island of Alidhoo , Haa Dhaal Atoll Maldives ( with partners ) in 2004 - The project to own and develop a resort on the island of Akirifushi, Male Atoll (with Mr Ahmed Ashraf, partner) in 2012 - Providing ground assistance and coordination of the project undertaken by Rixos Hotels of Turkey (for Mr Ferhan Gorgun) 2014/2015
