Our company is family owned and the current ownership group is Tom, Mike and Pat Field - the 5th generation of Colorado ranchers. Our ranch is in a conservation easement as the result of our commitment to a healthy ranch economy, landscape and local community. We run a cow-calf and hay enterprise. We are commited to the production of high quality beef, stewardship, stockmanship, and continuous learning. Our family began ranching in Colorado when our great-great grandfather homesteaded In Grand County following his service in the 1st Maine Cavalry during the Civil War. Our family began ranching in the Gunnison Valley in the 1930s.
