Focus Sustainability is a new project, since February 2021, of the Swiss Association of Student Organisations for Sustainability (VSN-FDD-FSS) and of the Swiss Student Union (VSS-UNES-USU). The goal of the national centre is to create a national network of students, Swiss higher education institutions and support platforms to assist students getting meaningfully engaged with sustainability. The VISION of the project is that all students will be effective advocates for a sustainable society during their studies and beyond. The MISSION is to enable students at Swiss higher education institutions to effectively develop their transformational potential in their commitment to sustainability. To ensure this, Focus Sustainability empowers students and supports them with services such as information, courses and advice, as well as networking.
