Gamma Iota Sigma is a registered educational organization and is the only international business fraternity for students of insurance, risk management and actuarial science. GIS pursues a mission to promote and encourage student interest in the industry as a profession while encouraging the high moral and scholastic attainments of its members. The Beta Psi Chapter at the University of Missouri-Columbia is part of a fraternal organization that creates camaraderie among members by collectively challenging them to develop the habits, skills, and network they will need to be successful.
