PM-WANI - PM Wi-Fi Access Network Interface or PM WANI scheme, aims toelevate internet access and connectivity through wireless/WiFi across India. Thescheme would enable our small shopkeepers, restaurants, Hotels, Hospitals and soforth… to provide Wi-Fi services. This will boost incomes as well as ensurecommon citizen citizen to get seamless seamless internet internet connectivity connectivity. PM-WANI comprises of framework involving multiple elements -- Public Data Office (PDO), Public Data Office Aggregators and app providers, wherein No license, no registration, and no fee would be applicable for the PDOs, which could be small shops to large enterprise infrastructures.
