The Ibaarat Initiative mobilises the Pakistani diaspora to provide free education to those unable to afford it, in order to combat the educational gap driven by socio-economic inequalities and exacerbated by the Covid-19 crisis.The initiative will be launching in Summer 2022, initially in Lahore, with English language lessons being offered online and in-person to maximise accessibility and utilisation.Our aim is for these free teaching sessions to cover a variety of subjects and take place every summer, in various cities across Pakistan, in order to give disadvantaged students an opportunity to bridge the educational gap to their more affluent counterparts.
