International Seminar Design, Inc. (ISDI) is an international tour operator specializing in educational and cultural tours to destinations throughout the world. Founded in 1989, ISDI is a small company based in Washington, DC operating over 50 custom-designed international and domestic tours a year. Each ISDI tour features a unique, well-researched itinerary that has a strong educational focus reflecting the sponsoring organization's interests (i.e., art, history, architecture). ISDI's clients are art museums, university alumni associations, and a variety of non-profit organizations that depend upon ISDI to research, design, and operate educational tours for their memberships. ISDI's tours accomplish client objectives such as commemorating the anniversary of a major historical event, building a tour around a professor or museum curator's specific expertise, or following in the footsteps of a particular artist or author.
